  1. Really a nice and very informative review on both sides. Well all people are unique and it is up for them which one is handy and comfy to use with. I wouldn’t be surprise if google+ will surpass Facebook soon but one thing for sure is Facebook already made it to the top.

  3. The competition just got tougher after the introduction of Google + in the social media circle. Whether its FB, Twitter or some other networking sites the number of users are increasing. I cannot stop using FB or twitter but some of the features of Google+ are unique and more superior. Maybe Google+ is going to be the next FB very soon.

  6. Facebook seems to have now a healthy competition with Google+ however to match up with Facebook, Google+ needs to complement or even to have the same features with Facebook to make it as friendly as Facebook does. Currently, Google+ is still expanding and discovering to meet our needs and expectations.

  8. Promoting google+ votes is becoming a very hot business. Using these types of services could have negative or positive affects on SEO.
We just have to see how google treats them. Another place to buy google plus votes is bulkones.com
Will be interesting to see how this evolves over the next few months.

  9. I like how info-graphics present key concepts and this one is done well (except) for 1 typo πŸ˜‰ Google doesn't [have] vs. has this feature yet. Besides that, nice work fellas. Going to add this to my Scoop.it Topic and I suspect the guys who follow this panel will find this useful too.

  10. Actually, Google does have private messaging – it's called email. Alternatively, you can choose to share something with only one person, you don't have to share with a whole circle.

  15. The Provate Messaging information is not fully correct, as you can send an update visible to only one person, which is practically a private message.

  16. nice share on facebook vs google+.but do u know that now there is app available through which u can chck ur facebook updates in google+ itself…….!!!!

  17. Actually, you can send a private message to someone in G+ tho it's not as obvious as Facebook.

When you "share", simply type the individual's name only. The stream is not a wall so only that person would see it. Disable re-share for even more privacy.

    • Consider a case, the person whom I want to private message has alot of people in his circles assume 300+ who updates alot. Assume there are 500+ updates from other friends on his stream. One of them is mine. Would it be easy for him to recognize and read it.

Thanks why we cannot consider it as private messaging, unless g+ notifies the user that something is shared only with you.

        • ahh, i see what you are saying about the "private" post getting lost in the stream.

You can get a notification sent to the person however, by tagging the person you are messaging in the post before sharing. It's not very user-friendly and much less than optimal but will get the desired result until google decides a private messaging feature needs to be implemented better.

          very informative infographic btw.

          Reply
          • Yeah exactly, the message might get lost, and if you tag user will be notified that he was tagged, he might not even bother if he is getting to many tags hehehehe

            and Thanks πŸ™‚

  20. nice comparision, but just a small correction about the private messaging:
in g+ you can easily share things with just one or more persons. just type their names instead of the circles you want to share with. I think this is much more flexible than FB since you can also combine sharing to individuals with circles.

  22. Nice infographic! I really don't have an opinion on Google +, i'm waiting more time to pass until i decide to make or not a google + account.

Not all new things are good, but some may be truly revolutionary. Let's see where google + stands!

  23. Its nice a comparison, and Google+ are gradually making waves. but i still don't see google+ getting anywhere near Fb And i can even bet that its only we tech enthusiast that is still knows about it. Facebook platform is really tremendous and every element of design in facebook is never idle.

  24. The main reason why Google leads Facebook is that Google is well established and Facebook is still a minnow. Even if Google+ fails, Google won't incur huge losses because it will cover all its monetary issues with other services like Adwords, Adsense etc. Facebook is just a Social Networking Website and is at par with Orkut, Buzz and Google+ while on the other hand Google is 'Giant'. It can swallow Facebook as a whole just as Facebook did to other small social networking websites i.e. Myspace and Friendster with one successful launch or either ways. So, just wait and watch. This is the war of a Crocodile and a Frog πŸ˜‰

  27. Another interesting comparison infographic. The last one I saw was developed by TechnoBombs. Nevertheless, I fear Facebook losing its current status as Google+ reaches 10 million active users!

    • I was also using graphic made by techno bombs on my blog, it was kinda out dated so I updated it and notified the author but then had some issues so made my own.
