Changes are unavoidable. This applies to everyone, even a blog too. So I forced myself to change in order to make a better blog in terms of design and optimization.
Proud to say that HellBound Bloggers is smartly designed with Thesis theme (Current version 1.6) and Blogussion skin.
Earlier I used StudioPress Church theme and I was satisfied with it, but it gave me a bad bounce rate and poor loading speed.

I just used Google Reader for HB’s mobile site mate! Since I’m masking, I can’t use Adsense here.

I saw this post on Blog Engage and wanted to stop by as I have been contemplating buying Thesis. I really like the clean lines and the skin does like nice as well. You can tell it is Thesis but it does not look like everything else out there. I still am having a hard time deciding between Thesis and Headway.

The customization looks great. I too use Thesis – I’ve been using it for almost a year, and on various sites and blogs. Now that I’m used to it, I find it’s really hard to hack anything else. Maybe its an acquired taste> 🙂 No, it really is a fine theme.
However, there are a couple of things I’ve noticed about blogs where not much customizing is done – they remind me of the old Frontpage sites, in that they all look a lot alike. I know, others have said this before. Not really much you can say about those who do this.
The other thing is, almost all Thesis sites are too wide for older monitors. And there are probably more squarish monitors out there than the newer wide monitors. As I look at this site on a Samsung 910t I have to scroll side to side to get it all.
Not complaining – the site looks great. Just some observations.

BTW, did you yourself customized the theme or hired someone. I have a single site license but could not customize it on my own and could not get it customized because of lack of funds.

suggestion :
1. remove the twitter ID : below the submit button, you are using thesis, so as SML wrote a tutorial on how to add twitter id field in THESIS -> http://www.shoutmeloud.com/how-to-add-twitter-id-into-thesis-wordpress-theme-comment-form.html
2. IF you are using normal plugin “twitterID plugin” you can check mine – > http://www.animhut.com/tuts/add-twitter-id-field-to-comment-form-in-5-easy-steps/

Well I do agree that some factors makes people feel a little shadowed at times. Changing themes is one of the things. But getting used to it is the way of life.

Thesis theme is not free of cost (unfortunately). For customizing, you don’t need to worry because there are hell lot of tutorials outside.
