Facebook, one of the most popular social networking websites ever created, has million of users uploading pictures to their profile pages in form of albums.
Users have the access to view them, but unfortunately they don’t support the feature to download the album. But now using a FireFox Add-on it is possible to do so. Using FacePAD you can download the Facebook Albums easily. Earlier we shared 10+ Special Firefox Add-ons For Visually Impaired Users. Mozilla Firefox add-ons are making users experience great.
FacePAD acts as a Facebook Photo Album Downloader which allows users to download entire Facebook Albums with a single click quickly. This will be really helpful to the users who love to take their albums to the desktop for offline viewing.
Download Facebook Albums [The Steps]
#1 – Download the Mozilla Firefox Addon – FacePAD and install it.
#2 –Go Facebook Albums and right-click on the name/link/image of a Facebook album. Now click the ‘Download Album with FacePAD’ option.
#3 – Now you will get a popup requesting you to choose the directory/folder store the photos. You can also choose a name to prefix with the image names.
Due to privacy issues and other problems, FacePAD is blocked right now. You can still try Pick&Zip and PhotoGrabber.
If you want to enhance your Facebook experience, you can check these cool Greasemonkey scripts.

Hey Pradeep,
Found this article through Google, but the addon seems to be lost from the add-on directory. Any alternative please?

Hey thanks for the update mate, FacePAD is completely removed I guess. Couldn't find a good software or extension, but this site works I guess – Pick&Zip (http://www.picknzip.com/) 🙂
