Forums are great place to start putting up your links. For that you need to look up for forums in your niche of blogging. Many forums do not allow links till you have put a minimum number of threads and posts, so first try to solve problems by giving precise answers.

Guest posting is the best way to get traffic to you site . You can also submit you site to social bookmarking like digg because if your story published to these site then you will get ton of traffic to you site and also you will get backlinks
Due to time restraints, commenting works just fine for me and is the easiest in my opinion.
guest writing and commenting makes most part of the Link building.. other all are also an alternative but mainly these two are the most used..

Youtube links are great for getting targeted visitors but they usually do not pass link juice that can help with search engine rankings. This is why I prefer guest posting on high profile authority blogs.

I suggest Digital point forums… they have high traffic good PR, allows you to promote your site through signature and through certain boards.
