5 Things You Must Not Do As A Blogger

As bloggers, there are definitely some things that you shouldn’t be doing. We often see ”Must Do” type of lists but what about things that we shouldn’t do? Becoming a successful blogger isn’t that easy because you have to do some things right. Blogging can be fun and profitable if you work hard and try to avoid doing mistakes that a lot of newbie bloggers do.  Networking is something important for any bloggers whether it’s with your own readers or with other bloggers.

Choice is yours

Writing quality content is something really important as we all know but there are also some other aspects that you have to consider. Hard work and patience will help you succeed and become a well known blogger. Isn’t that our dream? I don’t know for you but for me it is! Here is a list of things that you must not do as a blogger:

1.  You Must Not Ignore Networking

Networking is really important for bloggers! Why? Because if you are writing to a large audience, some people will want to know more about you. You can’t become successful if your readers don’t know who you are. Being active and get in touch with other bloggers will benefit you in many ways.

2. You Must Not Expect Fast Results

Blogging isn’t an overnight success, it takes months and months of work. It took some top bloggers as much as 5 years to start being successful. Making money blogging is possible but only if you provide hard work and do things right!

3. You Must Not Ignore Posting Frequency

Not updating your blog often can be a big mistake because if you don’t write often, your visitors will think that your blog is dead! Posting often has a lot of benefits such as helping you improve your writing skills, helping you increase your RSS subscribers and ,etc. Be consistent and work hard and you will surely see benefits in a few months. Because as I have mentioned, succeeding quickly isn’t something you should expect!

4. You Must Not Ignore SEO

A lot of newbie bloggers don’t optimize their blogs for search engines mainly because they lack of knowledge in that field. One of of the advantage of blogging is that each time that you write a post, it will index on Google and this will help you generate free and targeted traffic! Having a lot of targeted traffic to your blog will help you succeed.

5. You Must Not Try To Be Someone Else

Personality is something that is really important because there are millions and millions of blogs on the World Wide Web. The competition is definitely huge and you have to stand out. Having your own touch will definitely help stand out from the big competition. Be yourself and try to write the content yourself because this will help you adapt your readers to your own writing style. Each time you make a post, they will know it’s from you and not from someone else.

  2. You Must Not Ignore SEO !
i wonder this is it a must for SEO. I believe that no matter how good a content is but yet no SEO will equal to a nice foods but no one eat it.
So i still choose SEO but you can see in most of forum, everyone would told you blog content come 1st. So till now,, i still unable to choose which is the correct one. But to get high PR, you hard to avoid from SEO.

  3. I see more and more bloggers that have no clue about how to network, I also see those that preach and brag about it, but honestly never do it. Ignoring networking amongst bloggers today is a massive downfall and missed opportunity. Sure, the auto tweeters, fake multiple accounts and huge retweet numbers all look great, but if no one is really paying attention because you fail to network then it will all be for nothing.

Nice tips as always, hopefully a few will figure it out from this post.
