Download 3.0.1 or you can update using Dashboard.
WordPress 3.0.1 maybe an unfinished product and it may contain some UI bugs or issues. It is recommended not to try WordPress 3.0.1 on your primary website.

I recently moved from Blogger to WordPress. After much work I also had all my RSS Feedburner subscribers back. Then I upgraded from WP 3.0 to 3.0.1 and lost 2/3s of my Feedburner subscribers.

Personally, I don’t trust FeedBurner much. But yet it is the best option for us.
I think the upgrade is not the problem for that.

Which redirects all the feeds on your blog to the main FeedBurner URL. After some hours, you might feel the change. 🙂
Is it necessary to upgrade to the latest version? Suppose one has his blog setup in 2.9 version and the blog is very popular.. If we will upgrade it to 3.0.1 then some plugin may not work … So, what is the solution for that?
WP Plugins also has many versions. Depending upon the latest version of WP, plugins will also be updated. So it is better to upgrade! 🙂
Hi, I am using the same theme freshlife for my blog but the problem is that my timthumb script does not work properly and don’t show thumbnail on main homepage. I do all the tricks that are available on the internet. cache mode to 777 and includes folder to 777 but there is no progress what should I do I am using Hostgator hosting. Please help me how you resolve this issue, you are also using this freshlife theme. Thanks in Advance
Atif, I didn’t find any problem with my theme. Did you configure the thumbnail size & settings on Freshlife Theme Options?!

i started my blogging carrier with wordpress 3.0.1 so, don’t know about other versions but 3.0.1 is working like charm.

I won’t be updating for now less they satrt releasing updates every other week. I update my wordpress installation via FTP and that can be very exhausting on EDGE connection.
Just update with wordpress 3.0.1 seems the blog running smooth as usual. 🙂
