20th March 2010 was an important day in my blogging life. One way or another, you would have probably already heard about IndiBlogger, a Network of Indian blogs and bloggers.
This meet was conducted by them and sponsored by Univercell. This IndiBlogger Meet was tour de force. It was held at GRT Convention Center.
We really had a great time there! I and my friends had lunch at a nearby hotel and went to the blogger’s meet around 2:15 P.M. and we were the first to enter! 😀
We brought our college’s name on the screen by Blogging Tactics! 😛
It was a great pleasure to meet @Pro Vamsi and @Ram Kumar there.
First we had a welcome message from the sponsor i.e., Univercell. Then we had 30 seconds of fame, which was a memorable one for us and that forced/prompted the IndiBlogger team to put our college’s name on the main projector! 😆 You can check the Tweet status here.
Then we had a debate/speech on Traditional Media and Blogging. Many Journalists and Bloggers joined this and our chief guest for this was a blogger from Zee Tamil. He told @shilparathnam to converse in Tamil when she asked a Question in English, LOL. Shilpa was managing this section. A guy from the audience was bending our ears!
And at the end we had Mingling session and high tea. I hate tea! LOL! So I spend my time on Sandwiches and Ice Creams! 😛 Then Univercell announced that they are hiring bloggers for their Official Blog and they conducted some sort of contest, am not sure about it.
I got a medium size IndiBlogger T-shirt, a sweet gift from the team to all the attendees. Really got good experience and met several new bloggers at this meet.
