Mozilla Firefox 3.6.4 Released

Mozilla released Firefox 3.6.4, the latest security and stability release for Firefox. Firefox 3.6.4 will reduce the number of Firefox crashes experienced by users who are watching online videos or playing games.

When a plugin crashes or freezes while using Firefox, users can enjoy uninterrupted browsing by simply refreshing the page. This updated browser comes with dozens of bug fixes and stability upgrades.

Firefox offers crash protection for Adobe Flash, Apple Quicktime and Microsoft Silverlight on Windows and Linux computers. Support for other plugins and operating systems will become available in a future Firefox release.

All Firefox users are encouraged to upgrade for free by using the “Check for Updates” function in the Help menu or you can download it by visiting Firefox Official Site.

  1. My firefox still crashes despite the update. It doesn’t respond for sometime while a page is loading. I sometime experience this with chrome but rarely. That’s the reason why I transferred from FF to Chrome.

  2. Firefox 4 Beta is being used by me right now. But I have to say that I will switch back to 3.6 because I miss the add-ons so much and that affects my productivity.

FF 4 is so light weight and loads up pretty much fast. Thanks for sharing this.

      • No brother, linux users always made to wait by the firefox developers. I have a question to firefox abt this too. Whether the open source platform should have priority in releases of their packages or not ?

The time Firefox team removed Google from its default search engine itself shows that firefox core team would feel great if the browser can be downloaded for some charge ๐Ÿ™‚ just its my feel..
