Earlier we encountered Facebook “Send” button, Twitter’s New Follow Button and the recent Google’s +1 button, now something for Kindle fans. If you are web publisher or Kindle fan, you can consider this button. Readability’s “Send to Kindle” button allows your readers to send any of your articles to their Amazon Kindle for free.
Your readers will be able to transfer/send any of your articles to their Kindle device in just one single click.
‘Send to Kindle’ Button For Your Blog
This is not a plugin, you just need to paste this simple JS code on your blog posts. Go to Readability’s Tools & Enhancement section. Now grab the code for “Send to Kindle”. You can check the ‘Send’ button below.
Remember you can send web pages to your Kindle only using these two different email addresses, @kindle.com and @free.kindle.com.
Wow, that sounds like an easy and useful feature. Does it cost the reader?
Nope, it won't. 🙂
The button looks cool and neat. i will take this for sure 😀
Wow this button sounds interesting but in order to succeed targeted traffic is compulsory

Thats a new initiative form Amazon. Will try on my kindle sometime
Hi there,
I will definitelly give a try to the send to kindle button on a few of my blogs. It looks as it has a real value comparing to the Google’s +1 button.
Regards. Robert
My wife have the Nook so I will see if the is work on this..
"Black Seo Guy "Signing Off"
This looks nice. I will try it with my blog today. Does it also come with an analytics on how many were shared on Kindle?
No Aditya, I don't think they have such features. 🙂
This is really awesome! I'll definitely be adding this to my website, as it's relevant to the Kindle world. 🙂 Thanks for the tip!
As a reader, it will only work for Kindle 3 with wifi. For K2 and older without wifi, the free conversion will email it back to them in Kindle format to transfer manually via USB. If not using free, and letting is send via 3G, the charges aren't massive but are charged per megabyte and vary depending on whether you are within and outside USA.
ALSO, I would only do it with sites I trust. It requires adding their email to your approved email list so that they can send documents to your Kindle. *Potentially* this leave your Kindle open to spam – articles, ads, etc etc sent wirelessly to your Kindle.
