If you are a WordPress.org user and if you want to experiment Affiliate Marketing, then trust me, ThirstyAffiliates is a wonderful investment. When I was browsing their website and checking the features, I had only one thought, what’s wrong in investing $$ when I can earn $$$$+ from Affiliate Marketing. I guess that is a wise thought and I never regretted my decision. Check out our complete ThirstyAffiliates review in this post and decide for yourself.
ThirstyAffiliates Review: Perfect Investment For Affiliate Marketing
ThirstyAffiliates has both a free and a premium version. You can download the free version from WordPress.org plugin directory and you can download the premium version (extra add-ons) from their official website.
The free version provides limited features, like cloaking your affiliate link and other basic options. But the premium add-ons will enhance the plugin and give you additional options. I’ll talk about “ThirstyAffiliates” in general here. This is how the Affiliate URL looks after configuring:
Default Affiliate Link: https://thirstyaffiliates.com/?aff=5d616dd38211ebb5d6ec52986674b6e4
ThirstyAffiliates Link: https://hellboundbloggers.com/go/thirstyaffiliates/
We preferred the slug (prefix) /go/ because it looks short and meaningful. You can also experiment with /refer/, /recommend/, etc. You also get the option to make them nofollow (or not) and to open them in a new window (or not).
Autolinker Add-on
As the name says, this add-on automatically replaces required keywords with your affiliate links. You can cloak affiliate links all your blog without any manual individual work. The best part is, even if you are running bbPress, you can make use of this functionality there. You can also keep (or avoid) affiliate links on tags like <h1>, <h2>, etc. You can also limit the keywords for the autolinker to stop at one point.
You can enter your keywords in your desired order, so that if your blog post has “Affiliate Marketing” keyword first and “Affiliate Marketing Tips” as second, then it’ll take “Affiliate Marketing” as first priority and keep the link.
AZON Add-on
This is my favourite add-on since I experiment a lot with Amazon affiliates these days. You can use this add-on as your default Amazon search engine, you get access to all the tools you need to search and import Amazon links. You can do all this with a single click, not to mention, their awesome 1-Click importing feature.
To demonstrate this add-on, I searched for ‘Affiliates’ under ‘Books’ category. You can see the list of books they currently have for Affiliates and also their price, stock, average rating and sales rank. All the essential details we need before doing affiliate marketing.
Above the search results, you can see two options: 1) Import Link 2) 1-Click Import. The latter does the import bit quickly and you can easily edit/view the link after that. When you click on the “Import Link” option, you’ll get a screenshot like this below:
You get the ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) here, plus the option to import images and choose the redirect type. You can also edit the link name and destination URL. This is quite obviously the best plugin you will need for Amazon Affiliates.
CSV Importer Add-on
If you are a serious affiliate marketer, then you might have a spreadsheet full of affiliate links. But if you are wondering how you can easily import them into your WordPress blog, then this add-on is the best way to easily do that. Thanks to CSV Importer Add-on, you can now directly import affiliate links from your spreadsheet straight into your ThirstyAffiliates link management section.
Maximum file size is around 1 GB and you also get the option to skip escaping of URLs. If you are confused about the procedure and how to proceed with this, then you can experiment with their demo CSV file, to see how it works. You can also do this with country-specific affiliate links. Not just importing, but you can also export the affiliate links you created with the help of this plugin. You can choose a specific category and export the links.
Geolocations Add-on
This is another useful add-on which I primarily used for Amazon and Web Hosting affiliates. Suppose if I’m writing an article about “Bluehost” web hosting, I usually get confused about keeping affiliate link for the Indian website (.in) or the universal website (.com). This add-on helps me a lot to change the links according to the visitors’ demographics.
If you are someone who gets visitors from various countries and if you are keen on promoting the right product to them, then this is something you should definitely check out.
Google Click Tracking Add-on
If you have used Google Analytics completely, then you should be aware of this add-on name. This helps us to add Google click event tracking code to the affiliate links. If you have enabled this, then you can easily track the analytics of your clicks/conversions with your Google Analytics tool itself. You can easily monitor your Affiliate Marketing performance through this.
HTAccess Add-on
This add-on helps you to load your affiliate links faster, they achieve this by moving them into your .htaccess file on your server so that your visitors can open them instantly when they click on it. This is similar to the normal .htaccess URL redirection we do usually, but with this add-on, we can do this easily and instantly to all our affiliate links. Speed is very important for affiliate marketing, you don’t want your visitors (or customers?) to wait when they click on your links right?
Stats Add-on
Last but not least, this is something we all want. To see the traffic stats of our affiliate links. Do you know how many times your affiliate link was clicked yesterday? The day before yesterday? Do you want the exact time? Exact link? Don’t worry, here is the solution.
In this list, you can see all the required information about your affiliate links. You can also search for the links and see their stats. This is something I check every day and prepare my strategies accordingly.
ThirstyAffiliates Add-on Bundle
Right now, ThirstyAffiliates have three bundles: 1) Blogger Pack 2) Green Ninja Bundle 3) “The Lot”. If you are a serious affiliate marketer, then I would suggest you grab all the add-ons (“The Lot”) and start your marketing strategies with these helpful tools. You can also purchase individual add-ons.
Regardless of whether you are a newbie or a pro in Affiliate Marketing, you badly need to make some investments to upscale your marketing strategies and increase conversions. This is our ThirstyAffiliates review, do check out their website and see whether it’ll be worth your investment or not.

Pradeep, What I do not understand is other than the tracking and geo location difference I do not see much difference between this and pretty links. Any particular reason to choose this over pretty links? Other than the tracking and other things.
“Tracking” & “Geolocation” are the key highlights of this plugin bro, if you are into serious Amazon Affiliate Marketing, then this is a wonderful tool. 🙂
Thank you for this useful post Pradeep, your posts are always very informative and worth reading.
