AT&T Inc., the largest provider of local and long distance telephone services in the U.S. plans to acquire German mobile telephone provider, T-Mobile. They reached this agreement on 20th March for whopping $39 billion in cash and stock. T-Mobile operates several GSM networks in Europe and the United States.

After Vodafone and Hutch mergere there are many big mergers come to light. One of them is Bharti Airtel merger and now this. Telecom industry is really booming around the world.
