Top 5 Free iPhone Games To Kill Your Boredom

OK, so you finally got your dream device, the latest iPhone and are looking all over the internet to get the most popular apps to enhance your iPhone experience. I think without them, iPhone is just another phone 😛 and I am sure you do not want to hear that for your iPhone. Here, I have compiled a list of free iPhone and iPod Touch games which are addictive and engaging enough, to kill your boredom :). So, here we go.

1. Angry Birds

It didn’t take much time for me to put Angry Birds on top of the list ;). Well, there is no reason that stops me from doing that, as this is one of the most addictive smartphone game of all times. For all who do not know what Angry Birds is all about, it is a puzzle game, in which players use a slingshot to launch various kinds of birds at pigs stationed on various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playfield.

Recently, Rovio Mobile – the developer for this game, also made Angry Birds available for browsers.

2. Paper Toss

This is another total time-pass iPhone game which can keep you busy for hours, well, at least it holds true for me!

Have you ever been bored at work when you crumpled that piece of paper and targeted it into that metal trash can? This game brings that amazing experience to your iPhone :). It also allows you to share and compare your scores with friends and others on the global scoreboard. So, what are you waiting for, grab this game now and target the trash can but make sure your boss does not know ;).

3. Mega Jump

Mega Jump one of the most popular iOS games on Earth! It is my personal favourite and one of the most engaging iPhone games I have come across in a long time (ahem, after Angry Birds). With eye-popping cartoon graphics and beautiful multi-layered backdrops, it will surely grab your attention and make you play while going to office (of course if you commute by some public transport ;), with the hope that this time, you will end up with a higher score and soon realize that you have reached office :P.

So, what are you waiting for? Grab Mega Jump and start jumping!

4. Finger Cutter

This game will transform your iPhone into a dangerous finger cutter; which I call the iCutter ;). Remember the impacts, Apple poses on the iWorld if it launches its iPhone 44 in year 2041? This game proves those dangers, somewhat correct!

In this game, there is a sharp blade which start sliding down as soon as you touch the screen. Your aim is to avoid your finger getting cut by  the blade by taking your finger away. The longer you let the blade fall, the faster it gets and avoiding it, becomes more difficult.

5. Stick Cricket

This iPhone game app brings the cricketing fever alive again, this time at the ease of your pockets. This game, Stick Cricket from Stick Sports is the most popular cricket game in the world with over a billion game plays online. This game allows you to bat only, and puts to test your timing and selection of your shots.

You can choose your team and face the world’s best bowlers as they try to get you out with some devious fast and spin deliveries. Watch out for those head cracking bouncers. 😉

All the above game apps can also be installed on your iPod touch. I hope that this list is helpful for you and further enhances your iPhone experience.

  1. Stick cricket is such a good game, shame that the paid version costs so much. I like flick football and the goalkeeper game also, they're two good free games.

  2. Hi Aman,
the problem with the iphone ipod touch games is that they were developed in a way to make you addictive. I have read recently a report of how many downloads the smartphone owners doing every single month, it was a real revelation for me. I am in the online casino affiliate industry and even there players are not that addictive. Out gaming preferences are definitely changed.
