This is not a new thing since Microsoft had hired Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Sylvie Van Der Vaart, and many others. This time, Microsoft makes a deal with Miley Cyrus. She is believed to be one of many celebrities Microsoft has recruited to promote the new retail shops, Xbox Kinect and Windows Phone 7

Miley Ray Cyrus is an American actress and pop singer. She achieved wide fame for her role as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana.

  2. Windows is really stepping up in marketing and advertising their products. Since most people today are easily pulled by celebrities, why not hire them right. But I still hope that they will give back more to the community and share a little of what they earn. A big BUT also here is, I really don’t like Miley LOL.

  6. This is good. A leading girl to promote their products. I feel Microsoft can promote their products themselves. In the recent years they have largely reduced their promotion campaigns. Specially in India, I rarely see a Microsoft hoarding on highways.
