Don’t get me wrong with this title, this is still a Technology and Blogging oriented blog. But sometimes practically speaking we rarely care about promoting our blog creatively, right? The reasons for these would be lack of ‘how to do’ and budget.
Now we are going to see a website that destroys those two criteria, yes the site is Fiverr. Fiverr is a place for people to share things they’re willing to do for $5. It acts like a marketplace, where you can sell and buy tasks for $5. Services that are offered by sellers on Fiverr are called “Gigs”.
How To Hire/Order The Models For Promoting
Almost half of the gigs there are from females saying that they charge 5$ to get your blog/website or products advertised by them. Normally they restrict the advertisement to one minute. Now here is the procedure for hiring a model.
#1 - First you should have an account in Fiverr, so register in it, if you haven’t. Remember you can also keep your identity anonymous at all times.
#2 - Now search your required Gigs or check the featured Gigs on the homepage. After finding a good one, click the ‘Order Now!’ option.
#3 - If you have any doubts, you can contact the seller. Fiverr also provides the option to send messages to the seller, it will look like Orkut Scrapbook kinda thing.
Now if you are comfortable with everything, click the orange ‘Order Now’ button.
#4 - Now you will be redirected to the payment page. Now using PayPal or your debit/credit card you can complete the payment. You are required to pay for the gig in advance. Fiverr takes $1 off of the $5 fee. Fiverr accredits sellers once an order is complete.
Fiverr introduced DamnQuickPay™, it is considered to be the easiest way to pay on Fiverr. You don’t need to log into PayPal each time you want to order.
Some Featured Gigs on Fiverr are :
#1 - I will turn your 2D picture into 3D with use of anaglyph red and blue glasses for $5 [Check Out]
#2 - I will record a video of myself in my native spanish or english promoting your product for $5 [Check Out]
#3 – I will write your name on a grain of rice and send it to you for $5 [Check Out]
Though some Gigs are impossible, people still order them since $5 is not a big deal to them.

Request Gigs — If You Are Looking For Something
Fiverr also provides you the option to request Gigs. Suppose if you are looking for a model in India, you can mention that you are looking one in the Request Gig box and suggest that.
Don’t forget to choose an appropriate category to get your work done easily and quickly. Request Gigs box will be available at the left sidebar.
Fiverr is seriously a tremendous place for earning quick bucks too. If your gigs get featured then you have the chance of getting ordered easily. Remember, there are lots of Fiverr cloned websites outside, but yet the original Fiverr is trustworthy.

The service is fairly inexpensive, but you need to be careful in terms of selection.

Jasmine, I haven’t tried this site, but Fiverr keeps the amount delivered by the buyer and after the order is done, it will be given to the seller. And Fiverr also takes 1$ commission I guess.
If the Seller fails to deliver then you can cancel the gig and you would receive your money
yes right Sarvesh. Also you can rate that person down, it will make him a less trusted seller & fiverr may ban him after a certain limit of -ve reps.
Actually when you buy a order, your money will be held in a safe ‘medium account’, and only after the job is done, the money will be paid to the seller. You will not loose money if the seller doesn’t do the job.
Fiverr is a nice idea for promoting products..i wud not prefer it for promoting blogs..

I did try fiverr myself and I liked the services.. They are prompt and it is worth for $5 at any time.

I almost laughed when I saw the title, but Pradeep is the man. It started with something really inquisitive and ended in a website where people does several good stuff only for $5. I took sometime to look at the amazing things creative people can do for $5.
Though the title was misleading as Pradeep says in the beginning, but the site is cool.
