Windows Live Messenger Available For The iPhone

Earlier we discussed about the New Features Of The Latest Windows Live Messenger. Recently Microsoft launched the official free Windows Live Messenger app for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

This app lets you chat with your Windows Live and Yahoo! Messenger contacts.

You can also see what your Messenger friends are doing on the social networks such as Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and MySpace. You can even comment on their activities by this app. Accessing your Hotmail account is also possible.

Windows Live Messenger

This app allows you to create albums, upload photos, and many things directly from your phone. You can also receive IM notifications when the app is closed.

Requirements : Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Requires iOS 3.0 or later.

  1. Who is going to use that when we have Fring to make video facetime calls , now on ipod touch 4 to iphone 4 . they make a great entwork of ipod iphone users who will use it

  2. It is a great application with all the standard Windows Live stuff like photo sharing, chat and social stream from Windows Live Home.

  3. Finally we have an official Live Messenger, as I don't want to use my password with 3rd party apps, it works great; especially making your status Away when you close the app and sending push notifications for IMs is a great feature 🙂 🙂 🙂

  4. Microsoft hires a team of programmers to write apps for the iPhone… instead of using them to write code for it's own cell phone OS. Gee… I wonder why
