Now I’m going to review about a website that will be really helpful to you if you are going to sell your mobile, most probably your old phone. The site name is Sell My Mobile. The website is simple to use and the whole process is absolutely free, even sending your phone back is done with a FREEPOST address. You can just search for the mobile phone that you are willing to recycle. You will be given a list of companies that are interested in your mobile phone.
Every mobile phone that is sent in for recycling either gets sent to third world countries after deleting all data and making a few cosmetic repairs, or they are sent out to smelters who can reclaim important materials from the device if it is unusable. Those that use Sell My Mobile aren’t just getting money back from their mobile phones but they are also helping the environment. You can try this worthy site if you are going to sell mobile phone.

Thats a cool thing. May be I should consider this in short time as I am selling my mobile soon.
Glad you found this web site useful Senthil! Cheers!
That’s a cool review mate
Thanks buddy!
Nice post that could help others out a lot. I normally keep my old phones as you never know when you might need it. If I’m going to a place where I know my phone might get messed, I normally take my old one as then I don’t care much. I have a blackberry now and I’m taking real good care of it.
Cool buddy! I too want to own a Blackberry. Let’s see how it works!
Hmm, I just visited that website. Thought that I could sell off my 5 year old un used 6600 mobile. Best offer was 12.22 british pounds, which was very reasonable considering that is is being done for a good cause.
Now the issue is the payment, only through cheque and bank transfer, both of which would be a problem for their own reasons in Inter-country transactions.
Oops. That was bad (for Indians). It would have been more nice if it is an Indian site..
These services are really god for selling the outdated phones just kept is drawer. But the price offered by them is really low, first of all try selling your phone in local market. You may get more return from there.
Yeah Sanjeev, I agree with you. If possible, we can try our hands in local market, you can sell there first.. if not satisfying..we can try online sites like this..
I will remember this site. But I usually give my old mobile phones to my siblings.
Ha ha..
Hope this site will be useful to you Marlene..
Owh, it’s available for UK only. I have a Motorola handphone which I want to sell. But, it’s available for UK. I think I just have to sell them at ebay.
Oops. Hard luck Fatin. eBay is a very good alternative indeed! Cheers!
Sold my 6630 lastweek at ebay for $25.
Hope i was in UK.
thnx
Wow.. which make bro? Nokia?
It is a great thing that you recommend the site. You said click here to determine the price but I think there’s no link specified on the said line. Did you just forgot about it?
Actually, that link was broken and thought of replacing it with some other suitable substitute!
It is great to see a review from you

Keep on blogging dude
Thanks Sunil.. glad to see you. back to blogging..

These sites are very helpful as they encourages people to sell their old mobile phones rather than just them ending up in landfill, especially when they see what sort of cash they can sell them for.

Hi All
Thought I would let the online community know about another http://www.comparemobilephonerecycling.co.uk comparison website which shows you where to get the best cash for your mobile phones. It worked for me and also there are a couple of new recyclers and jewellery recycers too.
I would love to start a similar site for Indians. Anyone up for the idea?
